David's family and friends have set up this Snowdrop Memorial Fund in his memory.

David’s first job at 15 years old, was at the Co-op on Tynemouth Road Howdon then to the Co-op laundry in Wallsend. Between 1968 – 1976, he worked in Clennings shipyard until he went back to work in Swan Hunters. David was a doting grandfather, keen fisherman and darts player and loving husband.

The family have held teddy sales at the Strawberry Fair, participated in the Lung Run and even zip wired across the Tyne to raise money in tribute to David.

Donations made through the David Thomas Hall Snowdrop Fund willbenefit the work of the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund (MKMRF).
